Photograph of a menu saved by William "Roly" Thomas from the Christmas Dinner at the Khyber Barracks in Pakistan where he was stationed with the Royal Air Force in December 1945. The soldiers enjoyed a 3-course meal complete with cigarettes, matches and coffee to finish.
