Winners of the Mid-Glamorgan League and in 1938, winners of the Dan Jones Cup. The Captain of the team was local Glamorgan Constabulary Sergeant Broughton, who was stationed at Blaenclydach. He can be seen front row in the centre. He was also a Welsh international rugby player.
