Description

Talbot Street, Maesteg, in the 1920s, showing Maesteg Town Hall. In front is the William Hopkin Thomas Memorial and Fountain. The town Hall was redeveloped in 1914 and had remained this design until it's recent redevelopment in 2020, due for completion 2022. Image was used as a commemorative postcard to celebrate the Centenary of the Town Hall in 1981. B&W photograph.
