Description

Large photograph mounted on a hard card backing, which has sadly been damaged. Fortunately, that damage has spared the main photograph. It records Class 3 at the No. 8 District Police Training Centre, Bridgend and is dated 2nd March 1948. The police forces that have been able to identify include - Glamorgan, Cardiff City, Swansea Borough, Newport Borough, Monmouthshire and Pembrokeshire. The Police Training Centre then, was part of what was the Headquarters of the Glamorgan Constabulary. Today, that site same remains occupied by South Wales Police. *The Ross Mather Police Memorabilia of Wales Collection.
