Neath Borough Police Presentation Truncheon
Description
A rare presentation truncheon with inscribed silver shield:- 'PRESENTED TO J. R. JONES, ESQ., MAYOR OF NEATH 1920, BY THE NEATH BOROUGH POLICE'. Seventeen and a half inches long, all skillfully painted by hand. Stamped into the handle base, the manufacturer - HIATT & CO. LTD., BIRMINGHAM.
