Description

Glamorgan Constabulary A Division ( Aberdare ) Rifle and Drill Training Pre WW1 c.1910. Glamorgan Constabulary like several other constabularies had many men who were also army reservists / militia men - they were instructed by the Secretary of State for War, to regularly practice and carry out rifle / musketry drilling and training. Those men who qualified, received an amount as part of them being on a military reserve list , something like half a crown over every agreed period. Rifle Competitions were often held.
