Glamorgan Constabulary 1922

Description

A large oak framed photograph 30" x 24" showing officer of the 'F' Division, Glamorgan Constabulary. It was possibly taken in the grounds of Caerphilly Castle. 'F' Division was also known as the Ystrad Mynach Division. Not yet identified, the photograph is believed to show Sergeant Henry Merrett, who is believed to have started his police career at Treforest, Pontypridd. On retirement he is believed to have been stationed at the police lodge at Cefn Mably.
