Description
Dennis Tidswell grew up in Swansea and joining the RAF in 1940 was stationed at RAF Duxford during the Battle of Britain and in May 1941 was posted to Malta where he remained for almost 3yrs. Posted back to the UK in the summer of 1944 Dennis was badly injured when he was caught in the blast from a V1 Flying Bomb at Hemsby on the East Coast. Today Dennis lives in Pembroke and gave this historically important interview to the West Wales Veterans Archive in late 2020/early 2021. This is Part Two of a two part interview.
