Dennis Tidswell. Dennis Tidswell. 1944. near Ely. Photo the the VHF-DF section taken shortly before a V1 Flying Bomb blast. Dennis was working on the engine of the lorry shown in the rear of this photo when 10mins after this photo was taken a V1 explosion rocked the lorry severely injuring Dennis who was then hospitalised for several months.
