Description

In the late 1950s and 1960s Malcolm Capener, a local amateur film-maker shot footage of Tiger Bay and Butetown recording the varied range of events that took place.

In the late 1980s many residents of the area were interviewed as part of the Tiger Bay and Cardiff Docks oral history project.

This film is a combination of the original films and tapes. The piece was created as part of the Unlocking Our Sound Heritage Project, 2021
