Description
The photo shows my grandma, age about 15 in about 1909, outside the family’s shop at 24 Bute Terrace Cardiff. My great grandma is on her right,she was a tall lady. She was Mary Ann Giles from near Aberystwyth. Their surname was Jones. I presume the other two were customers. The shop moved to 7 Bute Terrace and was there until 1980s , then it was Chapple’s shop.
