J. J. Williams by Dorrien

Description

John J. Williams was born in Nantyffyllon, near Maesteg. He played for Bridgend and Llanelli and earned 30 caps as a wing for Wales between 1973 and 1979. He became one of the stars of the Welsh team in the second 'Golden Era'
He was first capped against France and was recognized as the fastest winger in Wales. Among the many highlights of his career was the Lions tour to South Africa in 1974 in which he played a key part.
