Description

Photographs showing the artwork created in 2005? for a project instigated by the PTA of Ysbyty Ystwyth primary school. This involved the communities of New Row, Pontrhydygroes and Ysbyty Ystwyth. The history of the area was recorded on a series of visual textile panels. Assisted by local artist Pod Clare, groups and individuals were encouraged to create collages that reflected the historical way of life that led to the development of their communities. Photographs of real-life scenes are included, where appropriate
