Various sea views, Skomer Island, September.1988
Description
Views of The Neck, including the East entrance to the Lantern and the entrance to Mathew's Wick.
Unlike the rest of the Island, there are few field boundaries to be seen on The Neck and it is thought that the whole of the area could have been used for grazing animals, with the ditch and bank fortification in the south offering an area where they could be herded and protected if there was any threat from the mainland.
