Laura Ashley Quilt produced from 1970s and 1980s prints developed by Laura Ashley's personal Textile Designer Brian Jones and loaned for the 'Laura Ashley Heritage Quilt' Exhibition in Newtown Library during March 2023.

Brian used to take home fabric samples when printed in the factory in Carno and his mother used to make these in to family bed quilts. Later these quilts were used for family picnics and Brian has held onto these quilts which have become heirlooms and treasured memories of his work for LA as she was fondly known by the Ashley family workforce in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
