Description

Ivor Evans, born Cardiff 1926, in the centre. On Boxing Day 1943 he was on an arctic convoy when the German ship Scharnhorst was sunk. Leaving the Merchant Navy he worked as a crane driver at East Moors. On closure in 1978 he passed the civil service exam and worked at Company's House.
