Jennie Lloyd, born in Cilfynydd, South Wales in 1925, became an accomplished musician graduating with 1st Class Senior and Honours in both Advanced Senior and Higher Senior from London College of Music for her Pianoforte Playing. A few years later, Jennie went on to perform and represent Pontypridd in the International Cymanfa Ganu, Akron, Ohio c.1949. In 1960 Jennie qualified as a Teacher from the Royal Academy of Music.
