Llandilo / Llandeilo Town Prize Band Balance Sheet, March 1911 till March 1912. The Bandmaster was Mr J Morgan and the Deputy Bandmaster was Mr Octavius Davies. President of the band was John Stephens Esq. JP (Chairman of the Llandilo Urban District Council). Among the receipts are subscriptions and contributions, such as from Lord Dynevor. Among the Expenditures are interest on Loan (Debt on Instruments), and lighting and rent of Bandroom. The Treasurer was Edward Edwards, Salutation Hotel; and the Hon. Secretary was T J James, Cambrian House.

Additional information on John Stephens (President of the Band in 1912) - He was the proprietor of London House, a drapery store in Rhosmaen Street (now Heavenly), employing some 40 staff including dress makers and milliners.
