By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. This is a programme of a Grand Concert at the Drill Hall (Civic Hall), Llandilo / Llandeilo on 14 October 1926. Among the items were a selection of solo singing, recitation and instrumental performances. The President was Lt Colonel W. L. Jones DL JP, Ammanford. The accompanist was Miss Nancy Jones LRAM LTCL. Proceeds were contributed towards The North Ward Area Nursing Association.
