By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. This is a programme of a Miscellaneous Concert and the Religious Cantata ‘Daniel’ (including the words of the cantata) at Salem C.M. Chapel, Llandilo / Llandeilo on Monday, 26 December 1927. The conductor was Alcwyn Jones ATSC, Llandeilo; the organist was Miss Nancy Jones LRAM, Llandeilo; and the President was Ald. L. N. Powell JP.
