Programme of Eisteddfod held under under the auspices of the Llandilo United Choir in the Drill Hall, Llandilo / Llandilo on Saturday, 10 December 1927
Description
By the end of the nineteenth century, Llandeilo had its fair share of performance venues, such as the chapels, the Civic Hall (or Drill Hall / Victoria Hall), Market Hall, and St Teilo's Church. These hosted countless concerts, fundraisers, and eisteddfodau, which drew audiences from far and wide. At one time, several eisteddfodau were held in the town each year, such as the 'Semi-National Eisteddfod', the children's eisteddfod, chapel eisteddfodau, and eisteddfodau associated with specific societies and institutions, such as this example which was held under the auspices of the Llandilo United Choir.
