The holiday park at Barry Island had been through multiple name changes and owners before eventually being closed in 1996 due in large part to ongoing maintainence issues. The photograph shows a side angle of the building, with a large flume water slide visible at the front the building and a sign advertising the entrance fees for a single visit and the prices for a season pass.
