Procession to Flower Service, Laugharne.

Description

On a Sunday in mid June the children of Laugharne, each carrying a bunch of flowers, assembled at the school (originally at 2pm) and walked in procession to the Church for the Flower Service. Their flowers were laid on the altar and later sent to local hospitals and on the mail train to some London hospitals. More recently, flowers were placed on graves in Laugharne churchyard.
The Cross Bearer is Ronald Owen.
