St Mary's Well, Penrhys overlooks the village of Llwynypia. It was associated with medieval pilgrimages to Our Lady of Penrhys, a statue, and was part of a monastic grange of Llantarnam Abbey, Gwent. Inside the building is a spring which flows into a large stone basin. The is now a paved area in front of the railings.
