Description
Christine McCarthy produced this screen print with the help of art department staff at Merthyr College. As a member of the Dowlais Visual Art Group, she attended a screen print session. It was for a collaborative project the group were working on for their Valleys Re-told exhibition at the Dowlais Engine House in August 2023. A wash day photograph by David Hurn was the inspiration for the theme.
