Description

A family group who lived at Ceinws, Esgairgeiliog in 1980's.

Kenneth Rowlands centre with his two uncles, Richard Jones left and Lewis John Rowlands right. They were a common sight together and were nicknamed " the last of the summer wine ", after the T.V. comedy series about a similar trio in Yorkshire. Lewis John is holding a bundle of sticks, collected on the walk to light his fire when he goes home. He was an avid collector of things that might be useful one day and would often enlist the help of the other two to drag them home. The three were real characters and sadly missed when they died.
