This acrylic painting by Pauline Evans was produced for the Valleys Re-told Exhibition at the Dowlais Engine House in August 2023. Members of the Dowlais Visual Art Group held their exhibition, supported by Cardiff Museum. Inspiration for this artwork came from an aerial photograph which showed four historical buildings in Dowlais, Dowlais Library, The Stables, Dowlais Engine House and St, Mary’s Church.
