The Polish RAF Fighter Squadron 316 Project
Description
The Polish Fighter Squadron 316 project is a tribute to the 316 "City of Warsaw"
Polish Fighter Squadron, honouring the bravery and sacrifices of the Polish pilots
who fought for the Allies during World War II. Formed on February 15, 1941, at RAF
Pembrey in Wales, the squadron was initially equipped with Hurricanes and later
transitioned to Spitfires and Mustangs.
