Belgian First World War refugees staying at York House, Llandudno

Description

York House was the home of sisters Mabel (1879-1936) and Edith Bennett (1870-1950). From October 1914 until June 1915 they lent their home to a group of 58 Belgian refugees, some of whom are pictured here.
