This is a narrative account of a short military career in the Royal Air Force. The author Neil Davies lives in West Wales and offers this account to compliment the archive of Veterans stories documented on the West Wales Veterans Archive at the Peoples Collection Wales website. Neil served in the RAF Police branch between 1985 to 1991, encompassing both station Policing and Dog handling roles. His narrative account and the photographs offer a perspective on a career in the RAF during the period commonly referred to as the cold war.
