Christopher Catling an insight from a personal perspective to what Britian was like in the 1970’s, particularly the prejudices and racial discrimination that existed in at that time. Also remarks on the changes seen in the mid-1970s with the arrival of Asian ran businesses and restaurants.

This interview was conducted as part of the Welsh Asian Heritage Project, led by the RCAHMW, which explores and archives the experiences of Ugandan Asians in Wales, especially documenting important places of cultural, religious and historical significance.
