WW2 Nazi uniform insignia
Description
This is a photograph of an original uniform Nazi insignia patch which is in the possession of Mr Dennis Pikes of west Wales. The story behind the patch is as follows: Mr Pikes confirms that this badge is a genuine article, dating to the WW2 era. It was “...brought back from the war” by Mr Pikes brother Sammy and gifted to Mr Pikes as a wartime souvenir. Mr Pikes had the badge sewn into his savings book as a reminder of his brother’s service in WW2. Mr Pikes was living in the city of Hereford during and after thew war.
