Plas Llwyngwern, Pantperthog. The Beaumont family who are descended from the 5th Marquess of Londonderry once lived here. Although geographically not actually in the village of Ceinws, Esgairgeiliog, it is a close neighbour and the social and political influence of the house and family on the village throughout most of the 20th century was considerable.
