Digital Story from the Bawso Stories Project. In this story inspired by a visit to the National Slate Museum, Elvira remembers a grandfather clock that was similar to the one found in the chief engineer's house.
English transcript. I am from Portugal. My original country is São Tomé and Príncipe. I saw in this house a clock that reminded me of my house in São Tomé, the relaxed dining room is very quiet, the same in my country. I am feeling better because I remember this clock every morning, they get up in the bed. In my country, my country, Cuba, where I study, the people is, I will try in Portuguese, poor people, rich people, the difference is the same.
