This is a photograph of the Royal Navy base at HMS Mauritius circa 1965 . The photograph is published in relation to the career in the Royal Navy of Mr Graham Davies, formerly of Pembroke, Wales. Graham served an engagement of twelve years in the Royal Navy between 1963 to 1975. He served at HMS Mauritius between 1964 to 1966. A narrative account of his career and various other material can be viewed online in the Graham Davies collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples collection Wales website. Graham has kept this photograph as a reminder of his time serving on the island.
