A copy of a letter written by Tommy Berth who was stationed in Aden, Arabia during WW2 as part of the Pathfinder Squad of the Lancasters. He wrote to his niece Margaret Williams thanking her for his Christmas card. Tommy Berth was from Gerlan, but has been working in south Wales before the war due to lack of opportnities in north Wales. He joined the RAF in 1929 and was with them until the end of the war.
