Certificate "Knowledge of the Holy One is Understanding" - awareded to Thomas Ffrancon Williams (Tommy Berth), Gerlan when he as around 3 years old. He attended Ysgol y Gerlan. Then moved to South Wales in Aberdar until he was 14, then worked in the coal mines in 1929 joined the RAF. After WW2 he came back to north Wales- first to Prestatyn and then back home to Gerlan.
