One of two memorials from the first world war in Llanfaglan. Two of Tŷ Calch's boys were lost in this war. John Jones' name is marked on his parents' grave in Llanfaglan Old Church, (St Baglan's Church) hence the Commonwealth War Graves Commission sign on the cemetery gate.
