This is a photograph of a page from the ships journal of HMS Battelaxe, from the 1959 to 1960 deployment to the Mediterranean fleet, North Sea and north Atlantic. The journal belongs to Mr John Roberts RN retired. John was a Petty Officer aboard HMS Battleaxe throughout the deployment. The boardgame offers an amusing insight into the ships activities during the deployment.
