RAF Regiment Gunners 1950s
Description
This is a photograph of a group of RAF Regiment Gunners boarding a four tonne Bedford lorry for transport, at an airfield in the 1950s. Looking at the gloves the Gunners are wearing its possible they formed a work party laying barbed wire. This is a photograph of two RAF Regiment Gunners taken at an unknown RAF encampment in the 1950s. The owner of the photograph Mr David "Dai" Griffiths served in the RAF Regiment in the 1950s in Cyprus and Germany. . Dai's memoirs along with photographs can be viewed online in the David Griffiths RAF collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
