A colour photograph of Framton Windmill, Windmill Lane, Llantwit Major. This mill was operational up to the early 1850s when the miller was offered the lease of a water mill at The Ham. Water mills were considered more reliable than tower mills. This photo shows the restoration carried out in the 1970s with the glass dome atop the tower. This glass dome was subsequently removed.
