Siw Harston in conversation with Anthony Rees. Siw recalls her childhood on Carmarthenshire mixed / dairy farms in Taliaris and Llandeilo and reminisces on the dairy farming practices and shares anecdotes.

Siw remembers an accident involving her parents and a milk lorry, which could have been catastrophic if it wasn't for the timely intervention, some time later, of a London based surgeon who was visiting the farm to fish for salmon, this meeting saved her fathers life.

Anthony and Siw share thoughts on the diversification efforts of welsh farms away from food production.
