Dewi Thomas a retired farmer of Capel Dewi Carmarthenshire, speaks of the heavy snow in the winter of 1947 and the challenges of getting milk to market. He also speaks of his neighbour Bill Hinds, chairman of the Milk Marketing Board.

Dewi spoke with Anthony Rees of the Carmarthenshire Milk stand project on 12 March 2024. The interview is in Welsh. This recording is the second of two available on this website.
