Description

Dewi Thomas, a retired dairy farmer of Ffynnon Ddewi farm, Capel Dewi, shares his lifelong memories of dairy farming and milk stands) in the Towy Valley. The conversation is conducted in welsh.
Dewi remembers the milk stand routines and the old wooden milk stand. This was later replaced with a permanent one in the shade of an oak tree. He reflects on the strike at United Dairies creamery Pensarn, and the impact of winter snows on churn collections.
