This is a photo of a milk stand outside the entrance to the Tir-Capel farm in the 1990s. The barn was a blacksmith's workplace in the 1920s. When the photographer (Methalda Baker) was a child she caught the bus to school at the entrance and sat on the milk stand to wait. Sometimes Methalda and her sister would play a game like noughts & crosses on the stand with a little pieces of slate.
