This is an oil on canvas painting of a pair of Royal Air Force De Havilland Vampire fighter jets in flight. The painting is by the late Eddie Baker, who created his art work in his studio in Powys, Wales. Eddie specialized in painting aviation and maritime subjects, and was especially skilled at creating images of the classic ocean liners of the 20th century. He also demonstrated a skill at reproducing images of airliners and classic aircraft from World War Two.
