This is a photograph taken of British Army Veteran Fusilier Bruce McCay, being interviewed by an Age Cymru Dyfed Veterans Officer at Bruce's home in Gwynedd. Bruce served with 7 RWF in Germany between February to July 1945, before a serious illness resulted in his repatriation to the UK. He re joined his regiment in Germany after the war ended but this time to 1 RWF. Bruce kindly agreed to the interview, in order to document his service to the nation. Bruce's story along with photographs and sketches he has drawn, in his collection in the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
