This is a photograph of Mr George Bargent and his dog 'Peter', taken at his home in Surrey in about 1935. George was a Royal Navy Veteran who saw service in World War One. British Army Veteran Bruce McKay, himself a Veteran of World War Two, has this photograph of George, which reminds him of spending time listening to George talking about his time at sea. Bruce's story along with photographs and sketches he has drawn, in his collection in the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
