This is a photograph of the front cover of the book 'No Triumphant Procession' published by Arms and Armour press in 1994 and written by John Russell, with DE Normann. This photograph is published in the Bruce McCay collection in the West Wales Veterans Archive, as Bruce refers to it several times during the interview he gave to Age Cymru Dyfed in April 2025. Bruce was an infantry soldier in the Royal Welch Fusiliers and fought in some of the battles described in this book. Bruce himself, as an eye witness to some of the last battles in Europe during World War Two, commends the book as an excellent account of what happened and praises the authors. During the audio recordings listeners will hear the interviewer and Bruce himself referring to the book to help explain what Bruce is sharing.
