Crosville bus, Machynlleth.
Description
Crosville bus, Machynlleth. Six passengers on the Dolgellau to Aberystwyth Crosville bus had a lucky escape one evening when a tree fell on to the vehicle near the hamlet of Pantperthog, just North of Machynlleth. None of the passengers were hurt but the driver, Mr William John Evans of Aberystwyth was cut on the face. The tree first hit the front of the bus, but was catapulted back by telephone wires and then fell through the wires and embedded itself in the rear of the bus.
